CHEESY CAULIFLOWER FRITTERS Crispy cheese cauliflower fritters which are also keto, gluten free, low carb and wheat flour free. These make a great substitute for hash browns or potatoes for brunch.  I like making cauliflower fritters for brunch. They make a great substitute for hash browns or potatoes. Ingredients:  1   lb   cauliflower florets 1   cup   shredded cheddar cheese 2   large  eggs 2   tbsp   coconut flour 2   tbsp   finely chopped scallions   plus additional for garnish olive oil   for cooking cauliflower fritters sour cream   for garnish Instructions: Shred the cauliflower with a food processor or large cheese grater. Baked Cauliflower Bites

Baked cauliflower bites are a quick and delicious starter you can make in minutes! Lightly battered in flour and topped with sesame seeds, this might be the non-greasy snack you’ve been looking for. Better than takeaways, fresh, delicious, and extra crunchy, you’ll love these snacks, oh they’re vegan too.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cauliflower florets bite size
  • 1/2 cup plain flour
  • 3 tablespoons of rice flour
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon of garam masala powder
  • salt to taste
  • oil to grease the pan and a few drops for cooking
  • 2 teaspoons of black cumin seeds
  • 2 teaspoons sesame

Instructions

  1. First, prepare your cauliflower. Cut them into bite-sized florets. Bring a large pot of salt to boil. Add the cauliflower florets and boil for 5 minutes. Strain and set aside
  2. Preheat your oven to 180 C/ 350 F. Combine flour, turmeric powder, salt, chili powder and garam masala powder in a small bowl.
  3. Also add carom seeds and rice flour.
  4. Gradually add water and make a thick paste.
  5. Dip each blanched cauliflower florets into the dough and place on a greased baking sheet. Sprinkle with nigella and sesame seeds.
  6. Bake in the hot oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden and crispy. You can turn the inflorescences after 10-12 minutes to ensure full cooking.
  7. Serve cooked cauliflower bites with a pinch of raw onion, chopped coriander leaves, and some fresh lemon or lime juice.

  • You can double the recipe or cut it in half.
  • You can use broccoli instead of cauliflower.
